Tl;Dr : this hotel is incredibleStayed for 4 nights in May, basic room.Pros1. Location - we walked almost everywhere and felt very well positioned in the city for whatever we wanted to see.2. Food and coffee - breakfast is delicious and with great variety. The kitchen is very accommodating to changes and out of menu orders. There is an amazing Coffee service, free coffee to your room whenever you want is a great way to start the day.3. Spa area - good gym and a nice (small) swimming pool, with spa lounges and good massage therapists.4. The staff - the highlight of this hotel is the most professional and accommodating staff I've got to meet. They will help you with whatever you need while you stay there, will be gracious and resourceful.ConsAbsolutely noneI will book this hotel again in my next visit to Vienna. This is a no brainer

We had the 'Sparkling moments' package: Two nights, two breakfasts, one dinner and a bottle of champagne on arrival for two people. We paid approximately €749 for this in December 2022. Please bare in mind the photos are from an upgraded room. The best hotel I have stayed in so far, although it was probably also the most money me and my wife had spent on hotel so far too. To say we were well looked after would be an understatement, the staff were incredibly helpful, polite and friendly. They gave us drinks on arrival, upgraded our room for free (our belated honeymoon) and showed us around in great detail. The room was stunning, lots of space, multiple bathrooms, a big bath and shower. Impeccably clean. You could have as much coffee sent to your room free of charge so I had a nice coffee sent to my room each morning so I could sit in the window seat and watch the world go by.Breakfast was great, full continental selection and/or hot food from a menu. Eggs Benedict or pancakes etc. A glass of champagne was included should you feel the need to start your day with a drink.Dinner service was fantastic, we had a 4 course dinner, but we were given an additional two small plates each. The food was on a level above what you'd expect from most restaurants on your local high street. The hotel is located around the corner from the museum quarter and next door to an underground train station.

Sans Souci please don’t change! Just wow - everything in this hotel is exactly what you would want from a hotel and so much more. From the initial welcome, through to the decor, the staff, the spa, pool and fitness facilities. It was perfect in every way.The hotel is very well located, in walking distance of main landmarks, a tram stop and an underground train station across the road.Every single member of staff were friendly and genuine, to call out some who made our stay that extra special - our welcome/intro with Martin, Laura who served us in the champagne bar (and gave us recommendations of places to eat/drink), Claudia in the spa area, Sophie the masseuse - possibly the best massage I’ve ever had, and finally Pascal who couldn’t do enough on our checkout, sending us on our way with a breakfast to go at 4am in the morning was a lovely touch.Sans Souci made our first ever visit to Austria an amazing experience and we can’t wait to return.

Beautiful hotel with great location. Our bedroom was super comfortable and clean. The special touch was the early check in and being accompanied to our room by Andres, who spoke Portuguese with us and was super polite. We would definitely stay in this hotel again. The only suggestion is to add a little more variety to the breakfast.

Modern and chic hotel that deserves 5*, rooms are good sized, bathrooms are modern, beds are quite firm but not uncomfortable, nice spa, maybe missing an infrared sauna, breakfast is really great especially on weekends until 2pm

This was by far one of the best boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we checked in, reception was incredibly attentive. The hotel is gorgeous! The rooms were wonderful with comfortable bedding and excellent coffee service! So many nice touches, especially when they made us a to go meal, with coffee, for our early flight when checking out. The location is wonderful as was the breakfast buffet. The bar was definitely a highlight as it’s so cozy and the cocktails were amazing. Special mention to Manuel, our bartender, for impeccable service and outstanding, creative drinks. My only regret is it took me so long to write this review as we were there in May! So many hotels we stay at we forget, but this one is the exception!

5min walk to the tram, 3min to the underground. Good and quiet location. The food was great! Every day, there is a different special breakfast. You can have a glass of champagne.

This hotel has a great product, great spa and pool, lovely bar and restaurant areas, rooms were OK. However like many premium brands it is let down by poor service . 6 examples of complete fails for a premium brand in our brief 3 nights stay.1. Room TV and air-conditioning wasn't working on arrival- clearly no checks were done.2. Asked for an iron and ironing board, I had to call a second time after a 40 minute wait.3. Went to dinner and spotted an simple maths error in the menu where a selection of 3 dishes as a "taste of Austria" cost 59Eu, however The individual dishes only cost 53Eu - Firstly waiter tried to say it's because of the rising cost of meat- pls don't treat customers as fools, - then told by the Manager the menu had changed on the 1st Sep and no one had spotted this error in over a week it was the 8th Sep - poor quality management from the restaurant4. Day 1 ordered 2 poached eggs - they arrived cold, Day 2 Ordered a fried egg thinking they can't screw up a fried egg for breakfast - egg arrived with burnt edges and over cooked , had to ask for another one- simple quality control from kitchen staff and serving staff would have stopped this from even being served. How can a professional kitchen be proud of such delivery !5. At breakfast watched a young boy ask for a banana to take with him on a trip - it took over 6 minutes for staff to provide a banana but he had to leave. Why is there no sense of priority from the serving staff, they could see he was in a hurry but took an age to find a banana in a professional kitchen!6. Finally asked for fresh milk when arriving back late from the busy day, waited 40 mins and no milk. Called to say no to bother. Another failure for a "premium" brand.Note for management - why is it these small failings happen? This is where premium brands fail to deliver the promise and don't deserve the praise. You have an amazing product in the hotel, but as stated the product is let down by 6 examples of poor customer experience and attention to delivery of quality. An experience I will not recommend that anyone pays the privilege for receiving, based on my experience.I stay in hotels across the world and I have seen better staff service and commitment to quality in a Holiday Inn!

Perfect stay! The staff really endeavour to give guests a seamless and pampered experience. From check-in, to daily breakfast to room service to the spa. Every interaction we had just left us feeling light and happy! I left 2 kids at home to have this trip with my hubby, and I had such a relaxing time that I didn’t want to go home. We’ve already talked about coming back. Thank you for the splendid stay!

One of the best 5* hotel I've ever stayed at.Everything was perfect. My partner and I couldn't find anything negative to say or that would need to be improved10/10 for the room, staff, gym and spaThe breakfast was also amazing, very good quality ingredients. A nice bonus is that and on weekends, you can enjoy your breakfast until 2pm which is perfect if you want to go out early and come back late morning when you're much more hungry 😋Would love to come back in winter!

Our stay at Sans Souci made our trip to Vienna complete. The service and hospitality was excellent, the breakfast top notch, and the room(s) was large and spacious. Definitely not our last time visiting this hotel.

This was such a wonderful experience. It's a lovely luxury hotel, the location is great to get around Vienna, the rooms are of a high standard with beds that grant you a restorative night's sleep and they have a lovely bar and restaurant.Having said all of that where this hotel really shines is the staff, from start to finish, this has been probably the most friendly and accommodating staff I've encountered at a hotel. They all deserve a medal 🥉 and if we visit again this is the place I want to come back to.Highly recommended! 😃

Great boutique hotel, will definitely come again. Stayed in a Deluxe Room overlooking the street; breakfast buffet was small but well curated covering anything you’d want/need; great little details like welcome chocolates and cotton slippers not those horrible polyester ones at most hotels. The spa was great with the cold mist, and we had a great aperitif at the champagne bar downstairs. Most of all we really appreciated the effort to provide guests with quality over quantity. Highly recommend

Amazing hotel from every aspect. Staff were super welcoming and helpful. Rooms was ready at 12 pm even without asking for an early check in. Breakfast is excellent. Food quality is extraordinary. You can eat from the buffet or to order from the menu.

Absolutely perfect stay. The staff went above and beyond and the hotel itself is perfectly located and offered wonderful rooms and spa and breakfast. 10 out of 10.

Had a very nice stay here, the rooms are very nice and the staff service is amazing. The location of the hotel is in a very good area, with many local restaurants and many tourist attractions such as palaces and museums within walking distance from the hotel. Would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Vienna.

this has got to be one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in - the location is perfect, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, but what has to stand out is the level of service. The staff are attentive, kind, and helpful. the hotel offers complementary coffee service to the rooms - every time we asked, coffee was there in 3 minutes flat. there is a specialized pillow menu, and again, all we had to do was asked. Another plus is the breakfast. my partner and i loved the leisurely breakfasts, with a view of the town's great architecture. the atmosphere at the breakfast room and the food were both great. you get your choice from the buffet, as well as specialty egg dishes and whatever coffee/tea served to the table. I think the hotel really "made" our trip. highly recommended!our thanks to Elizabeth for taking such good care of us

Stayed for the NYE and also attended the gala dinner. The location of the hotel puts it in walking distance of the city centre. The rooms are spacious, modern and really quiet. The only downside was that the AC is turned off for winter, so it was a little hot in the rooms. However, since the room was facing the courtyard, we could open the window. The service is very friendly and attentive. Loved the weekend breakfast that lasted until 2 pm and the champagne! The fabulous indoor pool and spa are pristine. Many thanks to Caroline and Mina on the restaurant side!

Ich werde, bei meiner nächsten Fahrt nach Wien, definitiv wiederkommen.(Translated by Google)I am still thrilled with my wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was beautiful, very clean and the hotel is in a great location. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. However, I would particularly like to emphasize the excellent service in all areas. The employees were all very authentically friendly and the stay was characterized by so much warmth. I will definitely come back on my next trip to Vienna.

We spend 3 nights in this wonderful hotel and will definitely be back.A perfect location, well appointed immaculately clean rooms, delicious food and wine and some of the best staff I've met on my travels.Reception staff were always accommodating, breakfast staff were welcoming and had a wonderful selection.A special mention for Daniel in the restaurant and Manuel the bar tender. They made us feel especially welcome and were exceptionally knowledgeable. Daniels champagne pouring is something to behold and Manuel's cocktail making class with a roof top view of Vienna was a highlight of our trip.

What an amazing stay in Vienna! I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The amenities, the cleanliness, the luxury, but by far what impressed us most was the friendly staff! Everyone from lobby to the spa, the restaurant, even the valet, just super nice. They thought of every detail to make you feel perfectly comfortable and pampered. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed! Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a fabulous shower. Spotlessly clean and quiet. Breakfasts are excellent and the serving staff all helpful and professional. All the staff are to be commended on their perfect customer service. The hotel is in a perfect place for the Museum Quarter, within easy walking distance of all the major sites and parks. If you walk up the hill a few streets from the hotel there are masses of great little places to eat.Highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel. Pascal and Thomas were magnificent. They couldn't fo enough for my wife and I. They were constantly helpful with suggestion and guided us in how to spend our time in Vienna. Sans Souci should be proud of these guys. Their professionalism is up there with the best. Thank you for making our stay to wonderful.

Thanks to the staff for taking care of my family, it was a wonderful stay. The rooms are beautiful, in particular the suites. The spa was even nicer than the pictures, very comfortable beds, breakfast was delicious and high quality, and it’s a great location beside the museums. I liked that it felt more on the boutique side, rather than a very large hotel complex. We have great memories here from our family trip, would recommend to others traveling to Vienna. Thanks again.

Große Empfehlung!(Translated by Google)Truly a place “without worries”. I had a wonderful time at Sans Souci. The room was luxurious and very spacious. The staff is very friendly throughout. The breakfast is perhaps even the best in Vienna. Just finished a lovely stay at Hotel Sans Souci Wien. Probably some of the best customer service I have experienced at a property! They were extremely welcoming and helpful. Even took me to my room to explain all of the perks and ins and outs of the hotel. While it is not in the main city square, I actually found this to be better because it wasn't overrun with tourists. Also right by the metro but within perfect walking distance to just about every major attraction and right by the Museum District. Spa was lovely and the free breakfast hit the spot. I highly recommend if you are in Vienna!

This used to be a great place for cocktails in a great snug and bar area. Now they are "renovating" the stug to connect with the bar. Removing the panels and basically killing the atmosphere. The service was incredibly slow. It was not busy and it took 40mins to get two cocktails. Such a shame it gone downhill so much!

The only flaw is the spa that misses a whirlpool, that's why I'mratingit 4 stars. There's a lot of room dedicated to a pool, but you normally go to a spa to relax and not to swim.Breakfast is very good, the room is very quite, you didn't hear any sound or noise. There is a separate room for the wc which is very convenient.

We spent 5 nights here in a “luxury extended” room. The room itself was truly beautiful and the bed very comfortable and great for my bad back. The staff were incredibly polite and service was excellent. The breakfast was delicious also. The hotel is located in an amazingly central area making sightseeing simple. Why 4 stars then? First, there wasn’t anywhere for two people to sit in our room. Second, the “balcony view” looked onto a dilapidated courtyard and extraction fans, third, the hotel toiletries all contained SLS which my husband is allergic to. Given the hotel’s stated eco friendly goals I am suprised they are using allergenic petroleum based cosmetics. Finally the curtains in our windows wouldn’t close and left a 20cm gap. Given the number of windows looking onto our room that was disconcerting. All in all it is a truly lovely hotel but at £400 a night you can get the same standard for less.

Wir waren begeistert!(Translated by Google)The name says it all: No worries! The stay is only recommended. Everything was fine. Rooms, swimming pool, spa, veranda with fine drinks and tasty little things, very nice breakfast and the most important thing - excellent employees, very courteous and helpful, always present and ready to chat, but never intrusive. We were thrilled!
