Amish Roominspired by the Amish bed quilt, wall guilt, and chestnut blanket chest, this lakeside room opens to the second floor porch.  The Amish theme, "hands to man, heart to God", is symbolized in the keychain for this room. It has a simple queen-size high-back oak bed. $99.00
 
 
Shaker Room:  a bayside room with balcony, reflecting the Shakers' simple lifestyle, features a queen-size pencil post bed, peg rack, an1800 light and dark cherry chest from New England, and a duvet cover dyed with natural fruit and vegetable dyes. $89.00
 
 
Dora's Roomnamed for Dora Buhn, daughter of the original owners,  this lakeside room with porch features log half walls, sleigh beds, one queen and twin daybed, a rosewood princess dresser, and a platform rocker original to the old Buhn Hotel. $99.00
 
 
Clariece's Room:  from log walls and red oak floor to the log cabin quilt on the Eastlake double bed and primitive wall quilt, this room is a step back in time.  From the second floor window you see the woods where Clariece Buhn, Dora's sister, watched deer forage. $79.00
 
 
Eastlake Roomthis bayside room with balcony is furnished with a striking 1845 walnut dresser, queen sized Eastlake walnut bed, and an unusual peg rack adopted from an 18th C. rope bed rail.   The parallel beaded lines, "chipped" petal designs, and scribed geometric patterns are typical of 'Eastlake' style. $89.00
 
 
Victorian Room:   with its highly stylish queen-size carved headboard bed and mirrored walnut dresser, the cedar-lined 'single' wardrobe, pedestal lamp stands, "diamonds and nosegays" quilt, and Victorian-style prints this lakeside room with private porch is truly Victorian. $99.00
 
 
Almost Heaven:   named for its winter panoramic views of the snow covered bay and frosted trees, Almost Heaven is adorned with Renaissance angels and cherubs, Battenburg lace on the king-size bed, white wicker, and a celestial cathedral ceiling. $99.00

Crow's Nestthis 3rd floor south gable room with its cathedral ceiling and windows on three sides is bright and cheery in all seasons.  The nautical reference "crow's nest" blends with the summer scenes of black crows and sunflowers! English Country Room:   another 3rd floor alcove bedroom suite with gracious living area and private balcony, inspired by the British hunt, featuring queen-size bed and over-stuffed queen-size sleep sofa.  Joining herringbone, tweed and tapestry with the country floral bed cover creates a real sense of English "country". $110.00
 
 
Christiana's Room:   our tribute to Scandinavian heritage, this 3rd floor room, designed for two singles traveling together, has twin everything--twin dormers, twin beds, twin rockers, twin peg racks!  Immigrant treasures are recalled in slatback beds, frosted lights, and beautiful porcelain. $89.00
 
 
Robin's Nestlocated in the tree tops on the north gable end, this room was inspired by the robin's egg blue color in the quilt, crafted by Appalachian mountain women, adorning the queen-size wicker bed.  The sunrise yellow carpet and white wicker keep springtime in the Inn year 'round. $89.00
     
 

Innkeepers' Choice:   our 3rd floor lakeside grand dormer offers a special room with cathedral ceiling and walnut beams, a valuable empire chest, a large double burled, walnut wardrobe, and a queen-size four poster bed with cut-out footboard that sits four feet into the room, allowing guests to see the moon through the upper window and its reflection on the lake below! $125.00

 

The rooms range in price from $79.00 to $125.00. The rate for each room is for double occupancy, including full breakfast for two the following morning.
